Dermal fillers are non-surgical cosmetic treatments designed to address signs of aging and enhance facial features. The procedure involves injecting a gel-like substance, often composed of hyaluronic acid, beneath the skin's surface. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that contributes to skin hydration and volume.
Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid based products that are injected into various layers of the skin. They are used to fill in wrinkles or folds, restore lost volume, and enhance or alter facial features. Filler can also make the treated areas appear more hydrated and plump due to the hydrophilic nature of hyaluronic acid. Results are immediate and can last around 6 to 12 months.
